Where it all began...
Let’s start at the beginning…my initial interest in web design kicked off at University where I managed to snag a fancy first-class honors degree in my Website Design module. Go me!
After University, rather than sticking to just website design, and with the interest of being able to learn as much as possible, I got myself a job as a Marketing Administrator. From there, I worked my way up to being a Marketing Manager. During this time, I picked up many transferable skills including project management, creativity, SEO, communication, attention to detail and problem solving.
With over a decade of working within the marketing industry, I now put all of this knowledge behind every website that I build and every client that I help.
Getting to know Wix
While I was working full time in Marketing, my husband set up his own business as an Electrical Contractor. This was where my love for WIX began as he asked me to create him a website and help him with the marketing of his business. From here, as other people started seeing my work, I started dabbling in other web design projects, including a website for our own wedding!
Before I knew it I was really starting to get the hang of using WIX and luckily for me, I had other family members, friends and recommendations from existing clients, who trusted me to help them out with their websites and other marketing tasks.
After taking a few years out of my full time employment to start a family, in November 2022 I decided to set things up the right way and follow my dreams of having my own business. That’s when AJM Website Design began.

I have now worked with a wide variety of sectors including - property developers, dog walker, electrical and building contractors, furniture restorer, dog breeder, beauty salon, makeup artist, gyms & personal trainer and gardeners. You can view my portfolio here.
